I’m sure you all know that I’ve been participating in MMM13 (you can read about it here & here)and I thought you might like to see what a month in my wardrobe looks like. As you can see there is some repetition, partly because I have only been sewing for a year, partly because have favourites and also because I spend heap of time just hanging at home.
Seeing everything laid out like this, I see my style is more obvious than I thought. Nothing makes you conscious of what you wear like showing the whole internet! Also, it’s very clear that I really need to sew a few more tshirts. I have plans to make some tshirts from this pattern as well as from Kwik Sew 2694, a sweater knit dress from Kwik Sew 3489 and I have the fabric to make a winter cape from Burda 7154. I seem to have a never ending list of sewing plans but all the things I just listed will help to get through winter. It has been wonderful to participate in MMM13 (Thanks for organizing it Zo! It’s been fabulous fun!) and I know I’ll have some much more to wear when MMM14 rolls around!
Do you feel confident about your style? Do you know the gaps in your wardrobe? Have you planned what you’ll buy or make to fill the gaps? Is your wardrobe ready for (depending on where you are in the world) winter/summer?
