The lovely Zoe from ‘So, Zo…’ (great blog BTW, do check it out) is hosting Me Made May ’13. The challenge is to encourage those who sew/knit/crochet/refashion/ upcycle/insert-other-creative- discipline-here garments to actually wear them and love them. You decide your own pledge, this is mine:

‘I, Sarah of AskSarah.com.au, sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May ’13. I endeavour to wear a garment I have sewn or refashioned each day and sew or finish one new garment each week for the duration of May 2013′

I am super excited about this! I mean, I started sewing at the beginning of May last year and already I have enough garments to consider wearing one a day for a month! It’s amazing to think I have made so many things in just one year. I have a few UFO’s (unfinished objects) in my sewing room that I will try to finish this week. No panic sewing here. But it seems I’ve found the motivation I’ve been lacking lately. Not to mention that my fabric hoarding is out of control!

I hope to share my outfits and newly sewn garments along the way. I’m not sure how I’ll work that yet but I’ll find a way! If you want to read all about it or sign up, click here. You need to get your pledge in before the 1st of May if you would like to participate. It would be great to get everyone involved, then we can share. Be sure to visit me on facebook & twitter to make sure you don’t miss a thing xxxx
