Summary: I’ll be honest with you, we call this ‘crack’ in our house because it is so very addictive. So you have been warned! Don’t blame me when you can’t stop thinking about making more. Which you will do. And when you do you’ll be thrilled about how quick and easy it is to make.
Ingredients
- 150 g chocolate, finely chopped (or melts)
- 3 tblsp coconut oil
- 100 g toasted almonds, roughly chopped
- 120 g dried cranberries (craisins)
Instructions
- Add the chocolate to a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Stir in the coconut oil until well combined. Don’t worry if it seems thin.
- Line a slice tin with baking paper and lay the almonds out in an even layer. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the nuts , smoothing with a spatula. Sprinkle the cranberries evenly over chocolate.
- Refrigerate for one hour or until firm. Or if you are in a hurry, place in the freezer for around 15mins. Break into large pieces and gnaw greedily upon them.
