Ingredients
- pita bread
- haloumi
- fresh oregano
- fried or raw red onion slices
- cracked black pepper
- lemon juice
- garlic olive oil (optional)
- lettuce leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the haloumi into slices and fry until browned on each side.
- On a pita bread place fried haloumi, fresh oregano, fried or raw red onion slices, cracked black pepper and a good squeeze of lemon. You can also add a drizzle of garlic olive oil and some lettuce leaves. Delish!
Quick Notes
A bowl of olives is a lovely side to this.
