Summary: I know so many people frightened of yeast. This is so wondrously easy and can be frozen for another day too. I use my mixer to keep it easy but you can use a bread maker to do the kneading or your very own hands.
Ingredients
- 2 cups plain flour
- 1 (7g) sachet of dry yeast
- 1 tsp caster sugar
- 1 tsp coarse salt
- 2 tblsp olive oil
- 3/4 cup warm water
Instructions
- Add everything to the mixer bowl, dry ingredients first, then wet.
- Use the dough hook to knead until you have a soft, elastic dough ball. Add a touch more flour if the mix is too wet. If kneading by hand, do this on a floured bench or board.
- Cover the bowl with cling wrap and allow to rest in a warm spot for 30mins or until doubled in size.
- Once the dough has risen, knock it back and knead for a minute or two. Then roll, stretch or pat onto a tray and topping.
