Summary: We all know I have no fears about working with yeast but with pizza I am always in too much of a hurry to wait for yeast. I love wholemeal flour but you can use white if you prefer. I have some toppings up too.
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup Parmesan, grated
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2/3 cup boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200C
- Add flour, baking powder, Parmesan, salt and oregano in a bowl and mix well.
- Add the oil and water and mix well. Knead for a few minutes by hand or in a mixer until a neat ball.
- Press or roll out (this enough dough for two 30cm round pizzas) and bake in the oven for 5 minutes.
- Top with your choice of toppings and bake until cheese is bubbly and crust is crispy.
