Summary: Easy and sooo chocolatey!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup plain flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 cup almond slivers
- 1 cup chocolate big buttons (I use dark) or 1/2 cup small buttons
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 250g melted, butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 160C. Line a 18x28cm slice tin with baking paper.
- Add flour, cocoa, sugar, nuts and choc buttons to a large bowl and mix well.
- Mix in eggs, vanilla and melted butter.
- Spoon onto baking tray and bake for 30-35 minutes. The result is a crispy crust and fudgey center!

My sister did the recipe in a jar thing for me for Christmas and I am just having a look at the full recipe… I notice the label does not say anything about added the vanilla.. Too late it’s in the oven! Hopefully wont make too much difference!
