Ingredients
- 500g sprouts
- 1 tblsp garlic olive oil
- 1 tsp lemon or orange zest
- salt, to taste
- cracked black pepper, to taste
- Parmesan cheese, to taste
Instructions
- Trim the ends and outer leaves from the sprouts and cut them in halves or quarters, depending on size.
- Add the sprouts, zest, oil, salt and pepper to a microwave safe container and toss to coat evenly.
- Microwave on high for around 6-8mins or till crisp tender. I like to stop and stir a couple of times during cooking, this also means you can check for doneness as you go.
- Grate the Parmesan over the top before serving.
