How’s this sunny weather? Mr Ask and I were up and out early on Saturday. We drove down to Victor Harbor and had a walk around. How cute are the horses that pull the tram to Granite Island? Then we headed to Mt Jagged, home to the Alexandrina Cheese Company. The have a delicious array of cheese, cream, yoghurt and milk made with Jersey milk. They name each and every one of their cows! Cheese means bread, so we picked up some bread from the Country Picnic Bakery in Mt Compass. We also chose an apple blueberry pie for Mr Ask’s family and dropped it in on the way home. Such a nice way to spend a sunny Saturday!
- Halloween stuff is still happening all over youtube. Cora over at Vintage or Tacky has had an amazing array of amazing vids. I loved her dark circus look! Also, Nikkie Tutorials did a truly creepy clown…..
- Speaking of youtube, did you see the video I made for Ask Sarahs 4th birthday? I’d love to know what you think.
- I’ve been having so much fun sewing skirts! They are so comfortable to wear and seem to go with everything! I’m looking through my stash with an eye to more…. Why not make your own with my tutorial?
- I found this thread commenting that people are mean to ugly women very interesting. Especially, this Dustin Hoffman clip that was posted in a response.
- Warm weather means ice cream and I’m plotting a few! I posted buttermilk ice cream this week but I’m considering something non dairy, thoughts?
- How cute is this brooch? My gorgeous sister in law said she saw it and thought of me. I love the brooch and my sister in law.
- The Adelaide Art gallery is hosting Fashion Icons: Masterpieces from the collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris. I’m really hoping to get there to see it. Mummy Ask tells me Vogue had a big write up on it.
I have lots of exciting things coming next week but today I am going to chill out. That is after I’ve done a little quick frisk clean of the house and thrown on some laundry. Have an awesome weekend and I’ll see you next week for some Halloween fun xxxx
