OMG! It’s 2015 already! Can you believe that? I’m so sick of hearing that but I just said it. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. As usual I celebrated Christmas with Mr Asks family. My wonderful SIL decorated & cooked up a storm! It was quieter than usual as Mr Ask Mum & extended family were in the Philippines. Which means there will be another festive gathering coming soon! Then of course there was Mr Asks 30th BDay…. He hates his birthday but Mummy Ask and I planned a small celebration. Just some pressies and decorations and cake! An hour and half of celebration and then home. Of course New Years was the next in line. I’m resting until the Besties BDay on the 13 of this month!

- Thankfully, the gifting was less full on this year! My SIL got me this awesome covered cheese plate and Mr Ask bought me the Swoon pattern subscription – so excite!
- Mummy Ask got this darling old overlocker from a workmate. It runs beautifully but could use a new blade/sharpen. Will be taking it to to repair shop for some love asap! Check out the manual cover….
- I’m sure it will come as no surprise but I stitched up the gifts I gave this year. Gosh, it was a labour of love but I was really happy with the results. I’ll have a tutorial up soon.
- Speaking of what I’ll have up soon, last year I did this photo array of all the things I made in 2013. I was thinking of doing a proper video this year, what do you think? Would you be interested to see?
- Did you make resolutions? I think these 13 fashion resolutions are worthy. As are these sex positive ones.
- I really try to be a supportive & charitable person. My mum taught that you cannot put riders on your charity, if you give a homeless person cash and they use it for for food or drugs or whatever, you can’t control that. This article made me feel that my mum knows a thing or two.
- Just love how these people dealt with having a gay slur scratched into their front door!
- OMG! How cute are these dog clothes made by the wonderful Novita?

Well, having summarily dismissed 2014, there’s nothing else to do but put on some washing and watch some tv. Yes, it’s just another Sunday. Unless you are affected by the fires raging in SA and VIC. I am so sad to hear that so many homes have been lost and my heart breaks for the animals who passed in the boarding kennels/cattery. I know that the good people at SA Dog Rescue are doing all that they can, I know that they would appreciate cash donations at this time. SA Dog Rescues Facebook page is probably the best way to get in touch. Stay safe, I’m off to hug my kitties xxxxx
