Mr Ask & I celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary this week. I was spoiled with flowers and we’ve been eating our way through a huge cake (from the same bakery as our wedding cake) from Mummy Ask. Thanks Mum – it’s delicious! Mr Ask is the man with everything, so I got him this practical but super cool tea towel from Game and Able, made here in Melbourne.
- I love watching old movies for sewing inspiration and I’m not the only one. I noticed a post on Coletterie about the movie ‘Three Coins In The Fountain‘ and decided to watch it. The outfits were fabulous! I watched ‘The Seven Year Itch’ straight after and was surprised to see a dress I’d seen in the previous movie! It’s the dress in the last pic on the Coletterie post if you’re curious. Mr Ask ask was surprised I’d noticed….
- I saw a great Alexis Colby/Dynasty tutorial from Pixiwoo. Oh so 80’s! They also have a personal, chatty and touch in video about their experience of domestic violence. Such a good spotlight on an issue close to my heart, give it a watch.
- I love a good procedural crime drama. I thought I’d seen them all but Mr Ask found Criminal Minds that started back in 2005. I’m only just getting to the end of season two, so no spoilers okay?
- I love Modcloth for sewing inspo and normally only head there to pin the things I like to Pinterest. But I showed Mummy Ask the glories of Modcloth and she did a little shopping. I threw a pair of jeans in her cart, fingers crossed that everything fits us!
- Don’t forget my Menulog giveaway is still open, you can win a $30 Menulog voucher and have dinner delivered to your door!
While your reading this I’ll be eating like a queen with my wonderful in laws and wishing my father in law a Happy Fathers Day (Hi Pa!). I’m sure most of you will be celebrating Fathers Day somewhere, somehow. So have a good time and Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads – Especially mine! I hope your having a great day Daddy-O xxxx
