I can’t believe Me Made May Challenge is in its tenth year! I have participated in the last six and will be again this year. Me Made May is a challenge was created by sewing blogger Zoe Edwards and is designed to improve your relationship with you handmade wardrobe. She says, “Hopefully, by the end of the month, you will have learnt a whole load about yourself, your style, how you feel about your wardrobe, and how best to spend your clothes-making time going forwards.”
‘I, Sarah of AskSarah.com.au, sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May 2019. I endeavour to wear as much me made items as I can. Decide on items to make next, which current ones are worth altering (in light of a little weight loss), which no longer work and finally which need to exit my wardrobe during May 2019’
While Zoe makes it clear that that taking photographs is not necessary, I will be posting my outfit pics to Instagram (and possibly facebook too if I remember) because that’s my habit anyway. I’m not going to blog post much through the month but I will do a wrap up with all the outfits at the end. And I LOVE to comb through everyone else’s posts in Instagram! I feel inspired by what other people make and wear. If you knit, sew or craft, there’s still plenty of time to sign up! I’m so looking forward to seeing what others have been making. If you want to know more about Me Made May’19, head to Zoe’s blog with all the deets! If you sign up, let me know so I can follow you on Instagram xxxx
