Somehow I manage to cook the outside of the chicken when I try to use the defrost function on the microwave, so this method is perfect for me.
Put the chicken or meat in a snap lock bag, make sure it’s well sealed with no holes or leaks
Put the bag of chicken or meat in a sink or bowl of cold tap water. You may need to weight it with a can. Change the water every 15 – 30mins or so.
We defrosted three chicken breasts in around an hour. Not bad if you forgot to pull out the meat for dinner!
