Millipedes love moist, mulchy environs.
They come into your home as it is cooler than outside and to search for food. To stop them try a bowl of bicarbonate of soda in the most effected rooms to dry the air, put door seals on the bottom of your doors. Create a moist, cool pile of compost or leaf litter to draw them to outside.
Another huge tip to keep millipedes out is to leave an outside light on at night. They areĀ attracted to light.
You can also dig a hole and drop a torch in it overnight, then tip boiling water on them in the morning coz hundreds will be in the hole. Keep bowls outside near doors and they fall in and can’t get out. I’ve never put anything in the bowls but I catch hundreds
