Summary: It’s rare that we have meat and veg for dinner but when we do, we love a sauce! This is so fresh and zesty – perfect for the warmer weather. Mr Ask loved this sauce and requested it again and Mummy Ask couldn’t leave the left overs alone. Why not try it tonite?
Ingredients
- 50g butter
- 2 tblsp plain flour
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp lemon zest
- Ground white pepper
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan and a add the flour and cook for one minute, stirring constantly.
- Add all other ingredients continue to stir/whisk until thickened and hot throughout.
- Check seasoning and serve with chicken, fish or veggies
