Ingredients
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup strong vego stock
- hot chilli sauce to taste
- garlic
- 2 tblsp rice wine or dry sherry or dry white wine
- 500gm block of firm tofu
Instructions
- Marinate tofu in slice or cubes for at least an hour but no more than 4 or 5 as it can get a little strong. You can use the left over marinade as a stirfry sauce.
Quick Notes
Massell brand stocks are all vego, even chicken and beef.
Variations
If you are feeling creative Ginger, lemongrass and lime are all good additions. This tofu is delish when cooked for a minute or two on the BBQ. Serve on warm crusty bread with sweet chilli sauce and chopped coriander.
