Summary: Whilst out and about checking out some art galleries and pretty seaside houses, Mummy Ask and I dropped into the Largs Pier Hotel and sampled their signature cocktail, the Singapore Sling. We had a most obliging cocktail waiter who patiently waited while we hemmed and hawed over what to drink. The recipe below is mine, as every bartender must have his secrets…….
Ingredients
- 30ml gin
- 15ml cherry brandy
- 120ml pineapple juice
- 15ml lime juice
- 7ml Cointreau or orange liqueur
- 7ml benedictine herbal liqueur
- 10ml grenadine syrup
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a shaker, fill with ice and shake.
- Strain into a tall glass.
- Garnish with a slice of pineapple and cherry and ENJOY the weekend!!!!!!!
