I always wanted to get my nose pierced. Forever. Mummy Ask may have consented to 3 holes in one ear and 2 in the other but said no to a pierced nose at 16. Glitter glue, bindis and faux piercings adorned my nose until it was officially pierced at 21. But then there was the issue of the nose adornment. I’m a yellow gold girl through and through and ugh! Why do we use 18ct Gold? 18ct is the purest metal to use for body jewellery because of its high pure gold content, 18ct gold is 75% pure gold and 25% other alloys,  whereas 14ct gold is 58% pure gold and 42% other alloys and 9ct gold is 37.5% pure gold and 62.5%other alloys. The standard size gauge wire we generally make is 20g. This is a fine wire, only 0.8mm thick. Again, we know people are pierced differently all over the world and you may need another size gauge, don’t worry this can be done (please note thicker wires will incur additional fees) please inquire.
