I am debating putting on the heater. It’s cold! Not surprising given that tomorrow marks the official beginning of winter. And I would be so happy to hop into bed with tea and cats and the electric blanket and hibernate my way through. But I’m up and drinking coffee and thinking about the heater. This time last year I spent a lot of time at home, writing the book and our electricity bill was horrendous! Nearly double the normal bill. I guess the up side of living in an upstairs flat is that downstairs sort of helps insulate against the cold. It’s not too bad but I think I may have been a cat in former life and I need warm and cozy spots to hang out in. Maybe I’ll just bake something and let the oven heat the house and scent it with something tasty. Yep, that’s a good plan! I hope you’re warm, with a nice cup of coffee, so you can peruse this weeks internet rummagings…….

Like most weeks, I’ll be sitting drinking coffee for a bit and then launching into laundry. Then maybe some house warming baking and some mending for the week. I hope you are keeping warm! And tell me how you keep your house warm? Do you have crazy heating bills too?
