Recipe: Pizza Pissaladiere

Summary: A French classic!

Ingredients

  • 4 onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme (or 1/2 tsp fresh)
  • 2 tblsp garlic olive oil
  • 10 anchovy fillets
  • 20 black olives, pitted
  • 60g soft goat cheese (or cream cheese cubes)

Instructions

  1. Add the garlic olive oil to a pan and slowly simmer onions with the thyme until they are soft and starting to colour. Allow to cool a little and add to pizza base (recipe for pizza dough posted here).
  2. Arrange anchovies, olives and cheese on top of onions.
  3. Bake for 15 – 20 mins or until bubbly on top.
