Tick – Tock! WIN this Clock!

Clocks are funny things. Keepers of time and reminders of deadlines but also the markers of anticipation and comforting too. Growing up there was a chiming clock on the lounge wall, the other side of my bedroom wall. It chimed every fifteen minutes and rang out the hour. I loved it, I was used to it but it drove visitors bonkers! I missed when I left home. My grandma Beryl had the same clock and I always thought of home when I heard it chime over the phone. My grandma Margaret has it now and I still take comfort in it’s chimes over the phone.

I haven’t had an actual clock in quite some time. Well, not in this house. When I got an email from Sophie at Purely Wall Clocks about a giveaway, I was straight onto the website. When I saw the Dylan clock in Mint,  I loved it. So retro and beautiful. It made me long for a completely retro kitchen, like these ones from Pinterest. Grandma Beryl and the Bestie agree, it’s not a kitchen without a clock and that’s where mine will end up. It’s so lovely and minty and made of metal at the sides and dearly vintage but perfectly suited to non vintage settings. I took some pictures of various spots for your viewing pleasure.
