Summary: Onion rings are one of my favourite burger sides! Along with my beautiful deep fried pickles. We are going to use some very similar ideas to make these amazing homemade, onion rings. Yeah you can get those pre made ones in the supermarket but they are nothing like the real thing. Gorgeously soft, creamy onion inner and crisp delicious outer. Done right they are not greasy! Just amazing and tasty! I can’t really tell you how many onions you’ll need, it really depends on how big the onion is and how thick you like the cuts. We have an electric deep fryer with solid vegetable oil and it is really handy but if you are going to use a pot of oil, check out these safety tips.
