Okay, so we have had a moment to absorb that The Girls Guide to Survival is here. It’s a book I wrote because a publisher ‘Asked Sarah’!!!! You know I try to answer every ‘Ask Sarah’ question in a timely manner but being asked to write a book was a bit of ‘woah’. I know you are dying to know what you might find in the pages, so here’s some of the topics in there:
- How to decorate an ugly rental house
- How to manage your noisy neighbour
- How to deal with living alone for the first time but some tips on roommates
- How to sew a button or hem
- What the hell those words mean when you’re buying sheets and towels
- How to emotionally & practically deal with your wardrobe issues
- How long you can keep that in the fridge
- How to host a great event
- Deal with first aid, flat tyres and broken fridges
And it’s me, so it’s a little bit funny and I’ll tell you about the time I made a mess of it all. Because I absolutely screwed most things up before I was this guru. I am part Mrs Beeton, part Martha freakin’ Stewart and a lot of been there and done that. You’ll find humor, kindness and the whole point, you won’t have to make these mistakes. I had pain and humor learning it first!
You can buy the book online in heaps of places and from good book stores but if you fancy buying a signed copy head here. The first 20 will ship on 20 April and the rest soon after. I would love to sign one for all of you! So order up and I can plan to buy enough copies for you all!!!
Thank you so much, every single reader! Without you, no book publisher would have come looking and I would not have had this chance!
