Summary: A traditional classic
Ingredients
- 1 large onion
- 1 tsp crushed garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 500gm of minced beef
- 3 baby carrots, diced finely
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup frozen corn
- 2 tblsp tomato paste
- 2 tblsp HP sauce
- 2 tblsp worstershire sauce
- Salt and pepper
- Mashed potato
Instructions
- Fry an onion and garlic in the olive oil.
- Add the meat and lightly brown.
- Add the carrots, peas and corn.
- Then add a couple of tablespoons each of tomato paste and sauces, salt and pepper to taste.
- Put in a big casserole or individual dishes as I do. Top generously with mashed potato. I like to put cheese on top and bake at 180 deg C till hot thru. Or wrap well in plastic wrap and freeze for an easy oven meal later
